BIOGRAPHY

Hieu Duong is the Chief Technology Officer at AM Batteries, leading development and commercialisation of dry powder coating technology for low-cost lithium-ion battery manufacturing. He previously guided the Dry Battery Electrode process at Maxwell Technologies, work that contributed to the company’s acquisition by Tesla. At Tesla, he served as the Director of Electrode Engineering, supporting efforts to scale and commercialise the technology.

Hieu now focuses on advancing dry electrode processes that strengthen manufacturing efficiency and support next-generation battery systems. His work helps accelerate scalable solutions for high-performance energy storage.
